We’ll be taking our usual short winter break from 4th to 21st January, giving our team a well-deserved rest after a busy festive season.

It is also our chance to carry out some general maintenance. We look forward to welcoming you back from 22nd January.

We aim to enchant all our guests with a warm & friendly welcome, delicious food and satisfying drinks

About our pub

A 17th Century Coaching Inn serving farmers, traders, fishermen and smugglers since 1668

Located only a stone's throw from the scenic North Norfolk coast, The Gin Trap is found in the heart of Ringstead, a charming village surrounded by the natural beauty of the English countryside. The pub itself has a characterful history welcoming all guests since 1668, be they locals, visitors, families with children and dogs.

Dining at The Gin Trap

Land, shore and sea

Located at the heart of Ringstead, North Norfolk, we sit inland just a few miles from the coastline. Our kitchen team strive to create an innovative menu that champions the beautiful bounty available on our doorstep. We celebrate the very best British produce and wherever possible source locally whether from the land, the shore or the sea.
